My new headphones just came in the mail. All I can say is WOW. The headphones are Sennheiser HD 429s over ears. For the price, they are the best headphones I have ever heard. The soundstage is incredibly level, the Bass Is how it is supposed to sound, not overdrive. I have listened to them non stop for an hour now and they are still perfectly comfortable. I have listened to pretty much every genre with them and the perform especially well with bass heavy music like Imagine Dragons and Magic!. Some people complain that the cable is too thin but I think it is fine. I plan on doing a full, detailed review after I have had them for longer. So far, however, I absolutely love them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Today I thought I would show off my 2-meter amateur radio antenna. I made it from PVC pipe, aluminum tape, 5 feet of rg58 coaxial cable, electricians tape, and a few zip ties. I am about 14 miles away from my local repeater. I am getting good signal reports everytime I use this antenna!! Here are the plans I used to make it. Click Here
Thanks!! I hope you enjoyed.
Hi everyone. For those of you who don’t know, I am sort of an audiophile. An audiophile, as defined in the dictionary, is a person who is enthusiastic about hi fidelity sound reproduction. Being such, I go through a lot of headphones/earphones. This will be a review of the House of Marley Smile Jamaica earphones.
The House of Marley strives to make earth friendly, high quality products. I speak for experience when I say they do a good job!
First I will go over the specs… They feature a 52inch fabric wrapped cord, recyclable aluminum, a one button remote with built in mic, an 8mm micro speaker and fsc certified beech wood housing.
Durability. When I first purchased these earphones I thought they looked to light and dainty to last long. Boy was I wrong!!! These headphones have lasted longer than any other pair I have ever purchased!! I have been running with these, I have skied with these, I have done yard work with these. They are tough!
Comfort. With the sleek design and smooth wood finish, these are a very comfortable pair of ‘phones. They come with three different pairs of tips to chose from. I think anyone can find a pair that suits them.
Sound. Finally, What you have all been waiting for… In a word, The sound is EXCELLENT. For the price, the are the best headphones I have ever used. It has beautifully crisp highs and mids but minimal bass. They give a very true, clean sound. If I had to chose one pair of earphones for general listening, these are what I would pick. Hands down. These were the first pair of House Of Marley earphones I have ever purchased. They got me hooked.
Whether you are an audiophile looking for a pair of cheap headphones or someone who has only used only ever used the earbuds that came with there phone. I am confident you will love these earphones as much as I do.

Hey everyone!!! Recently I have tried several different photography projects, A few of which I really enjoyed. Today I am going to share one of my favorite pictures so far.

Hi everyone, Gavin here. Today I thought I would show off the QRP radio I built. Firstly a bit of history. I am a General class amateur (ham) radio operator. This means I am licensed to talk on certain frequencies with other ham operators. It is a very interesting hobby that can actually teach you quit a bit. QRP is a ham code that stands for Low Power Transmit. Any radio under 5 watts is considered QRP. Anyway, sorry for nerding out. Here’s the radio…
For my second post I thought I would talk a little bit about my tiny house. The house is built on an 8×24 trailer. It is 192sqft not including the loft. I plan on having pallet wood siding and flooring as well as a metal roof.
I decided to build a tiny house for many reasons. First off, I don’t need much room. Just a place to sleep. I spend most of my time outdoors. Not inside watching t-v.
Secondly, money. My goal is to live a mortgage free life. No credit cards, no house mortgage, no car payments. If I want/need something I will save up and buy it with cash.
And lastly, Because it’s cool! You don’t see tiny homes everyday. My home will be truly one of a kind.
Thanks for reading!! If you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments. Thanks!!!
