My Home Built QRP Radio.

Hi everyone, Gavin here. Today I thought I would show off the QRP radio I built. Firstly a bit of history. I am a General class amateur (ham) radio operator. This means I am licensed to talk on certain frequencies with other ham operators. It is a very interesting hobby that can actually teach you quit a bit. QRP is a ham code that stands for Low Power Transmit. Any radio under 5 watts is considered QRP. Anyway, sorry for nerding out. Here’s the radio…

  1. Neat radio Gavin.  I need to take some pictures of my old radios.  You will find that this is a great hobby and there’s lots of people that can and will help.Glenn
